Sunday Lunch...
My favourite thing in the entire world absolutely HAS to be having a day off on a sunday and either my Mum's homecooked roast dinner or going to my favourite restaurant for sunday lunch.
There was one thing that made this sunday the best yet!
My Mum wasn't cooking lunch so we decided to go to our favourite place in Newcastle, Twin Farms restaurant. So we had our lunch (which was AMAZING!!!) I always get roast chicken and it is always so well cooked, chicken, YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS mmm, STUFFING!!! and potatoes and vegetables...my absolute favourite!
So as if that amazing lunch wasn't enough we decided to get a dessert to share, so I always go for something like chocalate fudge cake or sticky toffee pudding but ALL of the chocolatey sticky toffee desserts were sold out! So of course I was completely devastated that I wouldn't be getting an amazing dessert! The only thing left on the menu was lemon cheesecake with winter berry compote. I really didn't fancy it and thought that I would maybe have a bite or two and leave the rest...let me tell you... there was a fight for this dessert!!! It was amazing...beyond amazing...wintery and just so nice! Even tho it was a cold pudding it really felt like a winter warmer!
It actually made my day and looked so beautiful on the plate I had to take a photo!
It wouldn't upload properly so heres a screen shot from my iPhone...doesn't it just look amazing with the dusted icing sugar and the mint. I wish I could have it all over again!
